Can friends and family play simultaneously if they are on different accounts?

Yes, however, each person playing the game must be on a different Square Enix Account and a different device to play simultaneously. Users may share devices if they are playing at different times. Please do not share account information with any other person, as account sharing is prohibited under the Terms of Service.

To play simultaneously with friends and/or family, please see the following examples to understand the necessary requirements:

■ Windows only: To play three (3) accounts simultaneously
- Three (3) Square Enix accounts with Windows or Steam registrations on each account
- Three (3) PCs

■ Windows + PlayStation®5 or PlayStation®4: To play an account from each version simultaneously
- One (1) Square Enix Account with the Windows or Steam version registered
- One (1) Square Enix Account with the PlayStation®5 or PlayStation®4 version registered
- One (1) PC
- One (1) PlayStation®5 or PlayStation®4 console

■ PlayStation®5 only: To play three (3) accounts simultaneously
- Three (3) Square Enix accounts with the PlayStation®5 version registered on each account
- Three (3) PlayStation™Network accounts
- Three (3) PlayStation®5 consoles

■ PlayStation 4 only: To play three (3) accounts simultaneously
- Three (3) Square Enix accounts with the PlayStation®4 version registered on each account
- Three (3) PlayStation™Network accounts

■ Windows + Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S: To play an account from each version simultaneously
