FINAL FANTASY XIV ("FFXIV") is comprised of materials such as art, text and logos that are copyrighted and/or trademarked. Square Enix Co., Ltd., and Square Enix, Inc. (collectively "Square Enix") grants you revocable permission to utilize certain materials as specified below (the "Materials") on a non-commercial basis, for the purpose of supporting and growing the FINAL FANTASY XIV community, in accordance with the following guidelines. This applies to FFXIV players with a Square Enix Account registered in North America. For accounts registered in Europe or Japan, please refer to the policies applicable to your region.

Please read these guidelines carefully. The use or distribution of the Materials from FINAL FANTASY XIV and/or FINAL FANTASY XIV-related services on websites, blogs, or social media is conditional upon your adherence to these guidelines.

You hereby agree that we may block or otherwise restrict your access to FFXIV if you do not comply with the terms of 1) this Policy; and/ or 2) the FF XIV User Agreement located at: https://support.na.square-enix.com/rule.php?id=5382&tag=users_en and any rules and policies referenced within it

Copyrighted and Trademarked Materials
This Policy applies to the following Materials:

• Text, images, screenshots, and videos published on the official FINAL FANTASY XIV website and related official websites
• Text displayed in-game, screenshots captured in-game, and videos recorded in-game
• Music used in FINAL FANTASY XIV
• Music included in official FINAL FANTASY XIV albums (listed below)

Guidelines
These guidelines apply to any and all use of the Materials:

• You may not use the Materials for any sales or commercial use, meaning you cannot receive any form of payment or revenue, except:
  • As part of the partner programs operated by platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Twitch, or similar programs. If the operator of a partner program seeks to confirm our policy, please point them to this page as we do not have the resources to respond to all requests.
  • When receiving revenue from corporate entities through the streaming or posting of gameplay.
• When using the Materials, you must comply with the FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement and the Square Enix Account Terms of Use, and must not engage in any activity prohibited under those agreements.
• The Materials must not be used for the purpose of defaming, disparaging, or harassing others.
• Any use of the Materials on the Internet will be considered public, even if access is restricted (including, but not limited to, content visible only to an account's friends).
• When using the Materials, include the following copyright notice: © SQUARE ENIX
• You may not make excessive edits or alterations to the Materials.
• You must immediately comply with any request by Square Enix to remove any Materials.
• Videos featuring performances using the in-game Performance feature may be published online only if the music being performed is music used within FINAL FANTASY XIV.
• Music from FINAL FANTASY XIV may only be used in videos from FINAL FANTASY XIV gameplay footage, screenshots, or other in-game visual assets.
• Videos may not include any music or audio content other than music and audio from FINAL FANTASY XIV. However, you may include your own voice recordings.
• Music may not be uploaded on its own. Uploading videos or other content where the primary purpose is listening to music is also prohibited. If such cases are discovered, Square Enix reserves the right to take any action it deems necessary, including monetization of the content.

Music Provided on TikTok

Square Enix has made certain music tracks available on the TikTok platform, and such tracks are registered under the official FINAL FANTASY XIV TikTok account (“FFXIV TikTok Music”).
Notwithstanding the Guidelines above, you may use FFXIV TikTok Music only within the TikTok platform, up to one (1) minute maximum per TikTok video. FFXIV TikTok Music cannot be used anywhere beyond the TikTok platform.

Guidelines for Creation of Physical Items

Subject to the Conditions (defined below) and all other applicable rules and restrictions, you may create physical items incorporating the Materials solely for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may also create and provide such physical items as gifts to family, friends, or others, provided that no money, consideration, compensation, or other commercial benefit is received directly or indirectly in connection with the creation, distribution, or transfer of such items.

At a minimum, the following conditions must be met (the “Conditions”):

(1)	The item must be made by you personally.
(2)	Instead of a copyright notice, the item must include either: A link to this policy using this shortened URL: https://sqex.to/FFXIVMU or a QR code that points to that URL.
(3)	Items may be given to others free of charge. Please ensure this does not fall under sales or commercial use as explained above.
(4)	It is prohibited to commission a company or store to create the item, or to use paid printing or production services. However, the following exceptions are allowed: (a) Business cards created to introduce the user's character or the user's activities within the community. These business cards must include either the character name and Home World, or the user's activity name and a social media account that explains those activities. (b) Stickers. Users may use their own fan-made illustrations or screenshots that include their own character.
(5)	Creating items using a 3D printer is prohibited.
(6)	Creating items using AI-generated derivative works is prohibited.
(7)	Do not claim that the item is an official product or imply that it is officially approved or sponsored.
(8)	Do not use crossover content or any content for which a third party owns any rights.
(9)	Creating physical items that imitate official merchandise or promotional items, or creating items by molding official merchandise or promotional items, is prohibited.
(10)	FINAL FANTASY XIV logos and Square Enix logos may not be used.

For the avoidance of doubt, this section does not authorize the sale, advertising, promotion, crowdfunding, auctioning, licensing, distribution, or any commercial exploitation of physical items incorporating the Materials.

Nothing in this section grants any ownership rights, license rights, or other intellectual property rights in the Materials beyond the limited and revocable permission expressly provided herein.

Disclaimer, Term, and Termination

Square Enix makes no representations or warranties of any kind regarding the Materials, including any warranty that the Materials do not infringe the rights of third parties. Square Enix shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of the Materials.

This policy will remain in effect for as long as you use the Materials. Square Enix reserves the express right to immediately revoke this policy and any license granted in it at any time, including by one of the following methods: 1) a notice on a FFXIV or Square Enix website; 2) an in-game notice within FFXIV 3) e-mail notice to all registered FFXIV players; 4) notice included in a FFXIV newsletter; 5) a post on the FFXIV Lodestone Forum, and/or 6) any other method decided by Square Enix.

Square Enix further reserves the right, at any time and in its sole discretion, to prohibit, restrict, modify, or remove any content (including physical and digital content) that incorporates the Materials, with or without notice.

Upon termination, you agree to stop using the Materials immediately
