[Customers who are new to the game]
1) Please purchase the full version of FINAL FANTASY XIV from the PlayStation®Store.
2) Install FINAL FANTASY XIV.
* The game will install automatically after downloading.
* If the background download feature was used, please select "FINAL FANTASY XIV" in the contents list after download has completed to install the game.
3) Launch FINAL FANTASY XIV.
4) Select "Those Who Have a Square Enix Account" and log into your Square Enix Account.
* If you do not possess a Square Enix Account yet, please select "I do not possess a Square Enix Account" instead and follow the instructions on screen to obtain a Square Enix Account and log into it.
5) Link your PlayStation™Network account and Square Enix Account.
* If you possess multiple Square Enix accounts, please be sure you are logged into the correct one as the link cannot be undone once performed.
6) Follow the instructions on screen to register your product key.
7) Press the "Play" button to start playing FINAL FANTASY XIV.
[Customers who are currently playing on the Windows version]
1) Please purchase the full version of FINAL FANTASY XIV from the PlayStation®Store.
2) Launch FINAL FANTASY XIV and log into the Square Enix Account you are currently using to play the Windows version.
3) Select the service account you are currently using to play the Windows version, then follow the instructions on screen to register your product key.
* Please do not press the "Create a new service account" option.
* If you accidentally create a new service account and register your game on it, you will be unable to play with the characters from the Windows version.
* If you possess multiple service accounts, please carefully review which product(s) are registered on each one to select the correct one.
4) Press the "Play" button to start playing FINAL FANTASY XIV
