What are the Friend List, Black List, and Mute List?

■ Friend List
The friend list allows players to see the login status of characters registered to that list and to easily send tells to them.

 1) Select 'Friend List' under 'Social Lists' on the main menu to display the friend list window.
 2) Select a character name from the list to send that character tells or to delete the character from your list.
 3) Select 'Add' to add a new character to your list.

■ Blacklist
The blacklist prevents messages from characters registered to the list from displaying in the chat log window. There are several options for blacklisting a character:

* If you join the same party or alliance as a blacklisted character, their name will display as "Unknown01", "Unknown02" and so forth, but the character itself will be visible to you. In addition, their messages will show up as "(This message is from a blacklisted character.)" in the chat log.

  1) In the chat log window, open the subcommand for the character you wish to blacklist.
  2) Select the "Add to Blacklist" option.
  3) Select "Yes" in the confirmation window that opens.

 ▼ Text Command
  1) Target the character you wish to blacklist.
  2) Once the character is targeted, enter one of the following text commands in the chat log window: "/blacklist add <t>" or "/blist add <t>"

▼ Contact list
  1) Open your contact list and then open the subcommand on the character you wish to blacklist.
  2) Select the "Add to Blacklist" option.
  3) Select "Yes" in the confirmation window that opens.

* If you wish to remove a character from your blacklist, open “Social” from the main menu and select “Blacklist.” Next, open the subcommand on the appropriate character and choose “Remove from Blacklist.”

* You cannot register a character on your friend list to your blacklist. Likewise, you cannot register a character on your blacklist to your friend list.

■ Mute List
The mute list prevents characters registered to the list and all characters associated with that account from displaying in the chat log window.

* If you join the same party or alliance as a muted character, their messages will show up as "(This message is from a muted character.)".
