As of January 6, 2025 05:00 (UTC), service for OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent by Square Enix will come to an end, and service operations will be transferred to NetEase Interactive Entertainment who will continue service via their new app.

- Service ends for current app
*In-game events will continue to be updated until service ends.
*Once service has ended, you will no longer be able to play the game with the current app. However, you will still have access to the data transfer feature.
*While the time limit or expiration date of some content may be dated past the end of service date, be advised that the content will no longer be available once service ends.

New app with data transfer feature released
*Several days may be required to prepare data for transfer to the new app.
To use the new app from January 16, 2025, please complete the steps to transfer data in the current app by January 13, 2025 15:59 (UTC). For more information, after the v2.16.0 update for the current app, go to the title screen > Transfer Data > Transitioning Apps
*Please use your transfer code to transfer your data to the new app by May 14, 2025, and log in to confirm that everything has been transferred properly.

*The data transfer feature will no longer be available in the current app. If data is not transferred by the date noted above, all features of the app including paid Rubies will no longer be accessible.

Please download the new app set to be released after January 16, 2025, and follow the instructions displayed.

Region Availability of the New App
The new app will not be available in Austria or the Netherlands, and players in these regions will not be able to use the new app regardless of whether or not their data has been transferred.

Additional Notices
- Even after taking steps to transfer your data on the current app, you will still be able to play the game on the current app until service ends. The data of your progress upon end of service will be transferred to the new app.
- Both free and paid Rubies held at the end of service will be carried over to the new app.
- Once service is transferred to NetEase, content and schedules, as well as character attributes and skills may be adjusted accordingly. Please wait for announcements from NetEase for more information.
- With the transfer of service, we will forward the game data of players requesting data transfers to NetEase and their subsidiaries in China and Singapore, at which point the data will be processed in accordance with NetEase's privacy notice and terms of service. Once user data is transferred, Square Enix will no longer manage or process any user data associated with OCTOPATH TRAVELER: Champions of the Continent.
