I sometimes receive a "Traveler's Compass" or "Stone Tablet" for completing a quest. What do I use them for?
Certain quest reward items may be required to complete a different quest. If a settler asks you to provide such an item, use the "Bequeath" or "Use" command to give it to them in order to complete the quest.
