Some users have found that the mute switch may be used to lock the rotation of the screen from the General Settings portion of the phone. This issue may be fixed by setting the mute switch back to mute control and turning the mute switch on then off. With this done, you may start playing the game and music should return. Once you have music back you may go back to the settings to use the mute switch for locking screen rotation once more.
