[Windows] I can't install FINAL FANTASY IX.

Please consult the possible solutions below:

Confirm the free space available on your hard drive:
Please check whether you have enough free space in the installation folder on your hard drive to install FINAL FANTASY IX. You must have at least 20GB free space in order to install FINAL FANTASY IX.

Confirm the administrative privileges of the Windows login user:
The users logged into Windows must have administrative privileges in order to install FINAL FANTASY IX.
Please switch to a user who has administrative privileges or create a new user with the privileges and log back into Windows.

Remove installation program from the list of programs being monitored by your security software/OS firewall:
Your security software or OS firewall may be monitoring and interfering with the behavior of files related to the installation or FINAL FANTASY IX.
You may be able to successfully install the game by removing the files related to installation from the list of programs being monitored or by configuring your Exceptions List.

Prevent startup applications from launching and install:
Installation may be prevented if other startup applications are running in the background at the same time.
In order to identify the cause, please try by disabling other startup programs.
You can stop startup applications from msconfig by following the steps below:

1. For Windows7 users, go to the search bar located below the start button and type "msconfig".
2. System Configuration Utility will launch. Click on the "General" tab, and select untick "Load startup items" under "Selective Startup", and click "Apply".
4. Click "OK" and you'll be required to restart your computer.
After your computer has restarted, on the essential startup applications will have loaded, so please try installing the game in this state.
