Prior to the 1.1 update, the inviter and invitee would receive credit immediately after the invitee created an account using the invitation code. However, after the 1.1 update, the invitee now has to complete the tutorial and then reach and complete the Sanbelard Castle Town before both ends receive their invitation credits.
