The PlayStation 2 HDD will not work if it is transferred to another PlayStation 2 without using the HDD Utility Disc provided with the hardware and proceeding with formatting the HDD. Please note that all saved games and data stored within the HDD will be deleted by formatting. This will require a reinstallation of the PlayOnline Viewer and FINAL FANTASY XI. Note that this will not affect any FINAL FANTASY XI character data or any data stored on our servers.
