Payment Issues

Automatic renewal for recurring optional services (Additional Retainer Service and Premium Option) is canceled when game time is extended, such as when 30 days of free game time are added upon registering a license for a new platform or when game time is added using a Game Time Card.

If you would like to continue automatically renewing your recurring optional services, you must complete the steps below on the Mog Station.

To continue automatically renewing your recurring optional services, please log in to the Mog Station and complete the subscription process again by selecting “Additional Retainer Service” or “Companion App Subscription” under “Additional Paid Options.”

Service Plan Issues

If you have service plans for both the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version and another platform version (PlayStation®5 | PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Mac, or Steam), the service plan for the platform on which you most recently logged out of the game will apply. As a result, retainer market listings and other activities may be canceled depending on the remaining game time and service plan.

Example 1: The game time expiration dates differ between the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version and another platform version, such as Windows

If you have service plans for both the Windows version and Nintendo Switch™ 2 version, and the game time for the Windows version expires first, retainer market listings and other activities will be canceled if the game time expires while the Windows version remains the platform on which you most recently logged out.

You can list items and perform other activities again by logging in on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version, which still has remaining game time.

Example 2: The service plans differ between the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version and another platform version, such as Windows

If you have a Standard subscription for the Windows version and an Entry subscription for the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version, and you used the Windows version to log in and list items through your retainers, logging in on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version will cancel retainer market listings and other activities for characters unavailable under the Entry subscription, specifically characters 9 through 40.

You can list items and perform other activities again by logging in on the Windows version, for which you have a Standard subscription.

If you have service plans for both the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version and another platform version (PlayStation®5 | PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Windows, Mac, or Steam), the service plan for the platform on which you most recently logged out of the game will apply. As a result, you may be unable to view character inventories or use marketboard features.

Example 1: The game time expiration dates differ between the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version and another platform version, such as Windows

If you have service plans for both the Windows version and Nintendo Switch™ 2 version, and the game time for the Windows version expires first, you will be unable to view character inventories or use market-board features if the game time expires while the Windows version remains the platform on which you most recently logged out.

*The app's chat and scheduling features remain available for 30 days after the service plan expires.
*If the game time expires while the Windows version remains the platform on which you most recently logged out, you will be unable to log in to the Companion App once more than 30 days have passed.

You can view character inventories and use marketboard features by logging in on the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version, which still has remaining game time.

Example 2: The service plans differ between the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version and another platform version, such as Windows

If you have a Standard subscription for the Windows version and an Entry subscription for the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version, and the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version is the platform on which you most recently logged out of the game, you will be unable to log in to the Companion App with characters unavailable under the Entry subscription, specifically characters 9 through 40.

To use the Companion App with a character unavailable under the Entry subscription, you must log in to the game using the Windows version, for which you have a Standard subscription.
