[Android 10 and later] Button reaction is especially poor at the bottom of the screen when gesture navigation is enabled.
Please try the following troubleshoot if you experience this issue.
1) Open Android Settings
2) Select "System"
3) Select "Advanced"
4) Select "Gestures"
5) Select "System Navigation"
6) Tab "3-button navigation" at the bottom
