I can’t find my character, what should I do?

If you are experiencing any issues with finding your character after logging in, please try the following steps.

Firstly, log into your account on the Mog Station and click on your username in the top right-hand corner of the page. This will then show you an overview of the characters on your current service account, including which World they are on. You can also check the details of characters on a different service account, if applicable.  

If you had previously logged into the game and were unable to find your character, you may need to change which World and/or Data Center you are viewing in-game.  

If you have not logged in with your character for some time, there is a possibility that it will not show on the Mog Station view as described above. The best way to find this character again would be to log into the game and check for the following things:

  •  Are you on the correct World? You can change this by clicking on “World” on the right-hand side of your screen after selecting “Start”. This will be above a list of characters, or above a note stating that no characters exist on your current World.  


  •  Are you on the correct Data Center? By default, it will be the last one you visited, however this may now be incorrect if your character belonged to a World that was moved to a different Data Center. You can change this by clicking on “Data Center” after you launch the game and selecting the Data Center of your choice and then selecting the correct world. If you have followed all of the steps above and are still unable to find your character, there is a possibility that you may have deleted it. If this is the case, please go here for further instructions. Please note that you will need to log in with your Square Enix account to use this form.
