Important Update About Purchases and Subscriptions (Apr. 5)

The change to the payment processor used for purchases on the FINAL FANTASY XIV: Mog Station, FINAL FANTASY XIV Online Store and Square Enix Account Management sites is scheduled to be implemented on April 23, 2024. This should not have an impact on most purchases, but we want to share some information to help make the transition as smooth as possible.

After April 23, 2024, we will be confirming the address for the account for payment security purposes. You can confirm and update your registered address by logging into the Square Enix Account Management System and accessing the “Account Information” section from the "Account" menu.

This change should not have an impact on customers who have a recurring subscription. However, customer payments will begin using the new payment processor as soon as any change is made to an existing subscription plan, such as changing the payment method, or setting up a new recurring subscription. We recommend making changes to your account after April 24, 2024 to prevent any disruption.

Please note that some payment methods that are currently offered will not be available after the transition. While we are planning to add more payment methods in the future, for now you will need to choose from the available payment methods:

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, PayPal, Amazon Pay, and Paysafecard

Unfortunately, we will not be able to accept JCB, Carte Bleue, SEPA (ELV). We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We recommend due diligence when reviewing charges after the change to ensure they are from Square Enix for purchases you made. You may notice that credit card charges appear differently on your bank statement, or your bank may request additional fraud verification for new purchases.

In cases where a transaction is declined, you encounter error messages, or you have any other difficulties with payments, please contact the Square Enix Support Center (https://sqex.to/s5G9O) so we can assist you.
