I cannot log in to my account.

There maybe several reasons why you are experiencing difficulties when trying to log in.

Forgotten SQUARE ENIX IDand/or Password
Related error message:ID or password is incorrect.’

 

If youneed your SQUARE ENIX ID, please try logging into the SQUARE ENIXAccount Management page with your emailaddress.  After successfully logging in, your SQUARE ENIX ID will belisted at the top of the page.  Please be aware that your email addressmust match the registered email address on the SQUARE ENIX Account includingcase sensitivity.

If you have forgotten your password, please use the 
password reset function. If you are having difficulties with the security question/answer, please keepin mind that the answer is case sensitive. When registering an account, you areforced to select and answer one of the four predetermined questions. If youhave forgotten or you are not sure which question you chose, please attempt toanswer each of the questions provided. Spaces are accepted as valid charactersin your Secret Answer. If you are certain of the answer for your chosen SecretQuestion yet the system is not accepting your entry, please try adding a spacebefore or after your entry.

Security Token Users
Related error message: ‘The password entered is invalid, pleaseenter a valid password’ 

 

There maybe rare cases where the 6-digit code was entered too late and the system willreject it on that basis. Please try again with a new code. In other cases, thetoken may be out of sync with your account. If you require assistance to removethe token from the SQUARE ENIX account, contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Centerby using the Additional Assistance button below. 

Login Restriction
Related error message:
 ‘Basedupon recent suspicious activity, we have identified that your account maypotentially be at risk. For your protection, we have temporarily suspendedlogin access to this account. Instructions for lifting this restrictionhave been sent to the email address registered to your SQUARE ENIX Account.’

It may bepossible that access to your account has been disabled temporarily as asecurity measure to guard against unauthorized account access. In this case,you should have received an automated e-mail with instructions on how to removethis restriction. If you have not received any e-mail from SQUARE ENIXregarding the login restriction, please use the password reset function toregain access to your account.

 

Maintenance
