Is it possible for me to purchase a North American expansion code through the Square Enix Account Management System if I have transferred my North American PlayOnline ID to a Japanese Square Enix Account?

Yes. The region of the expansion code will be the same as the region of your FINAL FANTASY XI service account (the region of your PlayOnline ID).

In this case, you will be purchasing a North American expansion code because you transferred your North American PlayOnline ID to a Square Enix account. On the other hand, if the region for your PlayOnline ID was Japanese, you will only be able to purchase Japanese expansion codes.
