When an attack hits enemies, the color of the ATB bar sometimes changes for a brief moment. What does this mean?
The ATB bar color changes when under the effect of Haste or Slow. When attacking the enemy with an ATB recharge ability, the ATB bar will revert to its original color temporarily to show the effect of the ability. This is by design.
