About Blacklisting

Receiving unwanted comments from a certain player
If the player is making comments that are insulting or offensive to specific individuals or groups (including races, ethnicities, regions, religions, or organizations), you can report the matter to a GM in-game. You can also contact the SQUARE ENIX Support Center by selecting the "Additional Assistance" button located at the bottom of this Knowledge Base article if you are viewing this from the SQUARE ENIX Support Center site.

You can use the blacklist command in order to block a certain player's comments. To enter a player's name on your blacklist, type "/blacklist add [character name]". To view your blacklist, type "/blacklist".

Removing a player from the blacklist
Type "/blacklist delete (character name)" to remove that player character from your blacklist.

Unable to add a player onto the blacklist
You must be in the same area as the player you wish to place on your blacklist. First, search for the player to confirm that they are in the same area as you. Then, use the "/blacklist add (player name)" command to place them on your blacklist. Once you have finished, use the "/blacklist" command to view your blacklist and ensure the name has been added correctly. Also, please make sure you have not exceeded the max amount of players that can be added to your blacklist. If that is the case, you can add players to your blacklist by removing players from the blacklist by typing the command "/blacklist delete [character name]."
