If you no longer use a FINAL FANTASY XI character, you must cancel the corresponding Content ID. After cancelling the Content ID, you will no longer be charged for that character. Note that deleting a character does not cancel the Content ID itself. To cancel the Content ID, go to the SQUARE ENIX Account Management Website, click the FINAL FANTASY XI tab, choose "Options List," and select the Content IDs you wish to deactivate.
